If we can explain the anatomy of the brain ๐ง #BrainWellness and emotional regulation to #children under 5, then surely it can be taught to adults as well.
'๐ ๐ฅ๐ข๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ฅ๐ข๐' is when the โthinkingโ ๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ญ ๐จ๐ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐ซ๐๐ข๐ง is suspended and the ๐๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ โ the threat response system is constatntly activated, think of:
fight/flight/freeze/fawn. ๐คบ๐จ๐๐ผ
It might be difficult for children at times as they donโt have the language or vocabulary to explain what is going on..
But, weโve managed to bring this knowledge forward to children, where theyโre ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ข๐ง๐๐, ๐ญ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ก๐ญ and ๐๐ฆ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฐ๐๐ซ๐๐ through #Mindfulness of emotions and brain #wellness knowledge.
Funny how we don't always think the same when it comes to adults.. Think of overbearing boss or impatient customer.. we often let it pass, and often times think it is excusable.

Think of the person yelling at their team ๐ or blasting a team member and putting them on the spot. If this person is unable to self-regulate, they start being completely irrational, irritable and they are in fight mode

See, repeated behavior rewires our brain to make this #behavior more likely in the future. When lashing out becomes habitual, over time, we discover that it is more natural to us than taking a step back, reflecting and responding #mindfully.
